WHAT WILL BE MY RESPONSIBILITIES?

When you work with us, you’ll have the chance to work with our patients in a variety of ways. Our team members handle a wide range of responsibilities with compassion and care. After being hired onto our care team, you can expect the following duties, among others:

 

  • Becoming The Best Friend Of Your Client

  • Providing Companionship & Engaging In Fun Activities With Your Client

  • Assistance With Personal Care & Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)

  • Providing Medication Reminders

  • Light Housekeeping, Meal Preparation, & Assist With Feeding

  • Reinforcing Therapy Exercises

  • Transportation To & From Appointments

  • Assistance With Movement & Repositioning

  • Maintaining Infection Control As Needed

  • Taking & Logging Vital Signs

  • Providing Compassionate & Empathetic Care

  • Maintaining A Clean, Safe, & Healthy Environment

  • Communicating Needs & Monitoring For Changes In Condition

DO I MEET THE JOB REQUIREMENTS?

We have a few requirements to work with ACASA SeniorCare. Our biggest requirement is that you have a Compassionate Heart. We want to get to know the heart behind why you got into the healthcare field, because that is an important story as to who you are. Candidates for our positions must have some healthcare experience. Also, before being hired, you’ll need to pass a background check, Drug Screening, and a motor vehicle records screening.

  • Compassionate Heart

  • Healthcare Experience Or Training

  • Current CPR License (From American Heart Association Or American Red Cross)

  • Must Pass AHCA Level 2 Background Screening & Have Fingerprints Maintained

  • Must Have A Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance & Reliable Transportation

  • Drug Screening Required

  • Health Screening Required

WHAT ARE THE PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS?

Want a leg up on the competition? We’d especially like to speak with you if you have experience or education in the following conditions or aspects of care giving:

  • In-Home Care For Seniors

  • Dementia Or Memory Care

  • Parkinson’s Disease

  • Multiple Sclerosis

  • Hospice Care, Assisted Living, or Companion Care

  • Mental health and depression treatment

  • CHF or COPD

  • Hypertension

  • CNA Certification

WHAT ARE THE TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

Pre-Hire Trainings Required to include:

  • Alzheimer’s Level 1

  • Alzheimer’s Level 2

  • Infection Control

  • Covid-19

  • Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Medical Device Reporting

  • Tuberculosis

  • Recognizing Abuse Neglect & Exploitation

  • HIV Infection

  • HIPPA

  • Biohazard Management

  • Emergency Management

  • Personal Care

  • Handwashing

  • Skills Exam

  • Skills Checkoff By Registered Nurse

Using Google Maps our caregivers know where to go next and have all the important information at their fingertips.

This creates a uniquely personalized approach to care that ACASA excels in delivering. Our team is lead by nurses who understand the incredibly hard work you put into providing compassionate care.
